SMT-S/BH-103 decorative fireproof coating is an expansion type water-based fireproof coating that, after being applied to the surface of combustible substrates, can not only play a decorative role due to its flat coating, but also provide fire protection and prevent flame spread in the event of a fire due to its coating. The coating on the surface of the substrate expands and foams in case of fire to form a foam layer. The foam layer not only insulates oxygen, but also has good thermal insulation performance because of its loose texture, which can delay the rate of heat transfer to the coated substrate; The process of coating expansion and foaming to produce foam layer presents endothermic reaction due to volume expansion, and also consumes a lot of heat, which is conducive to reducing the temperature of the fire scene. Due to its significant fire prevention and decorative effects, this product can be widely used in combustible substrates such as wood and its products, fiberboard and its products, cardboard and its products in industrial and civil buildings, as well as other indoor decoration materials with a combustion performance level design requirement of B1. The technical standards comply with the technical indicators of GB 12441-2018 national standard, and the varieties include water-based fireproof coatings, transparent fireproof coatings, and solvent based fireproof coatings.
SMT-S/BH-103 decorative fireproof coating is suitable for general industrial and civil buildings, high-rise buildings, hotels, cultural and entertainment venues, wooden structural materials of ancient buildings, fiberboard, particle board, fiberglass products and other flammable materials, as well as cement walls, providing fire protection. SMT-S/BH-103 decorative fireproof coating has stable coating performance after film formation and can be used in various climatic conditions, so it can be used throughout the country.

Construction method:
1. It should be kept above 5 ºC and kept away from rain for 24 hours after construction.
2. The painting process adopts brushing, spraying or rolling, and can be applied evenly. The brushing direction should be consistent and should not be crossed or repeated.
3. The base layer should be smooth, sturdy, dry, and clean, free of dirt, oil stains, water stains, and other contaminants. Before coating, the coating must be mixed evenly. When the coating is too thick, a small amount of water can be added to dilute it; The coating methods of brush coating, spray coating, and roller coating can be used. The moisture content of combustible substrates should not exceed 12%.
4. This coating is generally applied in two layers, and if necessary, three layers can be applied or covered with light once. After the first layer is applied, it can be naturally dried before proceeding to the next layer of construction. The coating should be complete, without holidays, with a flat and uniform surface and consistent color. The coating thickness should not be less than 0.3mm to avoid affecting the fire prevention effect. There should be no missed coatings on each brushing surface. The dosage per square meter should be ≥ 500g, meeting the first level fire protection standard.
5. Mix evenly before painting to ensure construction quality and product performance. The construction environment should maintain air circulation, but avoid flying dust.

Packaging and transportation:
1. The construction temperature should be above 5 ºC, and the relative temperature should be ≤ 90%;
2. SMT-S/BH-103 decorative fireproof coating is packaged in plastic drums. Do not store outdoors or expose to sunlight.
3. The storage temperature is 1-35 ºC, and the effective storage period of the product is 6 months.
4. During transportation, measures should be taken to prevent rain, direct sunlight, freezing, and impact, and relevant regulations of the transportation department should be followed.
