Product Description

Cable Fireproof Coatings Which Are Applied in Numerous Fields Such as Architecture, Electric Power and Communications.Product Introduction:
YDAH-102 cable fireproof coating is a new type of fireproof coating successfully developed by our company in accordance with the standard of the Ministry of Public Security GB28374-2012. It is a water-based (oil-based) fireproof coating that is widely used on electric wires and cables in China at present. When the coating of this product is exposed to fire, it can form a uniform and dense sponge-like foamy heat-insulating layer, which can effectively suppress and block the spread and extension of the flame, thus playing a protective role for electric wires and cables. Its main advantages are as follows: it is environmentally friendly, pollution-free, non-toxic and odorless, and does not pose a threat to the health of the application personnel. This product also features a thin coating, strong adhesion and good flexibility, and has excellent insulation and anti-corrosion functions.

This product is widely used for the flame retardant treatment of electric wires and cables in power plants, industrial and mining enterprises, telecommunications and civil buildings. It can also be used for the fire protection of combustible substrates such as wooden structures, metal structures and underground projects.

Construction Instructions:
Step 1: Before applying the cable fireproof coating, the floating dust, oil stains, debris and other substances on the surface of the cable should be cleaned and polished thoroughly. The construction of the fireproof coating can only be carried out after the surface is dried.
Step 2: The construction of the cable fireproof coating can adopt spraying, brushing and other methods. When using it, it should be stirred evenly. When the coating is a bit thick, an appropriate amount of tap water can be used for dilution to make it convenient for spraying.
Step 3: During the construction process and before the coating is dried, it should be protected from water, exposure to the sun, pollution, movement and bending. If there is any damage, it should be repaired in a timely manner.
Step 4: The thickness of each coating layer should be appropriate so that the coating does not flow down. Generally, the thickness of the first coating layer is about 0.3 - 0.5 mm. The next coating layer can be applied after the previous one is basically cured until the coating reaches the thickness required by the fire resistance limit grade. For electric wires and cables with plastic or rubber outer skins, generally, they are directly coated more than 5 times, and the thickness of the coating is 0.5 - 1 mm, with an approximate consumption of 1.5 kg/m². For insulated cables wrapped with oiled paper, a layer of glass fiber cloth should be wrapped first and then the coating is applied. If the construction is carried out outdoors or in a humid environment, the corresponding finishing varnish should be added.

Packaging and Transportation:
  1. The cable fireproof coating is packaged in metal or plastic barrels.
  2. The cable fireproof coating should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated environment.
  3. During the transportation of the product, it should be protected from sunlight, rain, damage to the packaging barrels, tipping and overflowing.
  4. The effective storage period of the cable fireproof coating is 6 months.
