  1. Product Introduction
    • Fireproof cloth is a kind of fabric material with the function of preventing the spread of flame. It is mainly composed of fiber materials and fireproof coatings (or fireproof treated fibers). Common fiber materials include inorganic fibers such as glass fiber, ceramic fiber, and carbon fiber. These fibers themselves have certain high temperature resistance and flame retardant properties. The fireproof coating is made of special chemical materials such as flame retardants and silica gel, which are coated on the fiber surface to further enhance its fireproof performance.
  2. Performance Characteristics
    • Excellent fireproof performance: This is the core performance of fireproof cloth. It can effectively prevent the spread of flame. According to different fireproof grades and test standards, fireproof cloth can withstand the burning of flame for a certain period of time without burning. Or even if it burns, its burning speed is very slow and it can be quickly self-extinguished after the flame is removed. For example, in building fireproof tests, qualified fireproof cloth can withstand high-temperature flames for several hours, winning precious time for personnel evacuation and fire rescue.
    • High temperature resistance: Fireproof cloth can tolerate relatively high temperatures. Different materials of fireproof cloth have different degrees of high temperature resistance. For example, ceramic fiber fireproof cloth can withstand high temperatures of 1000 - 1300°C, and glass fiber fireproof cloth can generally withstand high temperatures of about 500 - 700°C. This high temperature resistance characteristic enables it to be applied in heat insulation and protection in high-temperature environments, such as the protection around industrial kilns and high-temperature pipelines.
    • Good heat insulation: It can effectively block the transfer of heat and reduce the emission of heat from high-temperature areas to the surrounding environment. In some places that need to maintain a low-temperature environment, such as the insulation pipelines of cold storage, or in places where high-temperature burns need to be prevented, such as the protective equipment of workers beside steelmaking furnaces, the heat insulation performance of fireproof cloth plays an important role.
    • Mechanical properties: It has certain strength and toughness. It can withstand a certain degree of stretching, bending and friction, and is not easily torn or damaged. This enables fireproof cloth to maintain a complete protective function in practical applications, whether it is wrapped on irregularly shaped objects or in environments that are often subjected to external forces. For example, during transportation, the fireproof cloth wrapped on the outside of equipment can resist collisions and frictions during transportation.
    • Chemical stability: It has a certain tolerance to many chemical substances. For example, glass fiber fireproof cloth has good resistance to most chemical reagents such as acids and alkalis, and can be used normally in complex chemical environments such as the chemical industry without being quickly damaged or losing its fireproof performance due to contact with chemical substances.

    • Industrial field: Widely used in petrochemical, electric power, iron and steel metallurgy and other industries.
