DJ-A3-BH-III Fireproof Sealant
Product Introduction:
The DJ-A3-BH-III fireproof sealant is a flame-retardant, expansion-type fireproof sealant that meets the relevant provisions of the national standard GB23864-2009. It is characterized by good flame retardancy. In case of fire, its volume expands by more than 5 times (unconstrained), which can effectively prevent the transfer of flame and heat. The DJ-A3-BH-III fireproof sealant is a water-based fireproof sealant, resistant to nuclear irradiation; resistant to LOCA; resistant to detergents and radioactive decontamination performance; stable fire resistance; free of toxic components such as halogens and sulfur; watertight and smoke-tight; non-corrosive, safe and environmentally friendly; non-toxic smoke; highly flame-retardant; convenient for construction.
The DJ-A3-BH-III fireproof sealant is suitable for the gaps at the penetration points of vertical shafts, switch cabinets, steel pipes with insulation layers for cable wall penetration, copper pipes, cable bundles, plastic pipelines (≤50mm), and HVAC air ducts.

Construction Method:
Opening: Clean the opening. The surface to be coated with sealant should be free of scattered debris, dust, oil stains, frost and wax, and kept dry.
Construction of fire protection system:

1. Fill the backing material (such as mineral wool) in accordance with the test report requirements of relevant standards to the minimum thickness requirement, and leave enough thickness for applying the sealant to obtain a considerable fire protection time limit.
2. Application of fireproof sealant: To obtain the required fire protection effect, apply the specified thickness to ensure that the sealant contacts the surface of the pipe base material to obtain the maximum adhesion.
3. Smooth the fireproof sealant: For better results, smooth the surface immediately. For excessive putty, it can be removed with water using tools before it hardens.
4. Please keep the interface after construction undisturbed for 48 hours to allow it to complete the curing process.
5. If necessary, install an identification sticker at a conspicuous position next to the fireproof plugging part as an identification mark for later maintenance.
